🍚 한국 집밥 | 함께 요리하고, 함께 먹고, 함께 이야기해요 🇰🇷

한국 집밥 최고!!! 요즘 한국 음식을 소개하는 영상이나 밀키트, 쿠킹 클래스가 정말 많습니다. 저도 한국인으로서 그런 콘텐츠를 볼 때마다 가끔 이런 생각을 합니다.

"음… 우리 집에서는 저렇게 먹지는 않았는데." 😊

그래서 조금 다른 시간을 만들어 보고 싶었습니다.

이 프로그램은 완벽한 레시피를 배우거나 식당 음식을 그대로 따라 만드는 쿠킹 클래스가 아닙니다.

많은 한국 사람들이 집에서 먹으며 자라온, 소박하지만 따뜻한 집밥을 국적에 상관 없이 함께 만들고 나누는 시간입니다.

물론 모든 한국 가정을 대표할 수는 없습니다. 하지만 제가 자라며 익숙하게 먹었던 음식과 식탁 문화만큼은 진솔하게 소개해 드리고 싶습니다.

제가 특히 중요하게 생각하는 것은 재료입니다.

집밥인 만큼 가장 저렴한 재료를 사용하거나 비용을 아끼기 위해 타협하고 싶지 않습니다(쉐프의 마음ㅋ). 가족이나 친한 친구에게 대접하듯 신선하고 좋은 재료를 사용해, 편안하고 따뜻한 한 끼를 함께 만들고 싶습니다.

모임마다 메뉴는 조금씩 달라집니다.

김치찌개, 된장찌개, 계란말이, 제철 나물, 다양한 밑반찬 등 한국 가정에서 흔히 먹는 집밥 메뉴를 함께 만들고, 식사를 하며 음식에 담긴 이야기와 가족 문화, 그리고 저의 추억도 함께 나누려고 합니다.

요리를 잘하지 못해도 전혀 괜찮습니다.

함께 요리하고, 함께 상을 차리고, 함께 식사하며 친구처럼 편안하게 이야기를 나누는 시간이 될 것입니다.

이 시간이 끝난 뒤에는 배뿐만 아니라 마음도 든든해지고,

마치 친구의 집에서 저녁을 먹고 돌아가는 기분을 느끼셨으면 좋겠어요.

🍚 Korean Home Dining | Cook, Eat & Connect 🇰🇷

Have you ever wondered what Korean people actually eat at home?

There are countless videos, meal kits, and cooking classes about Korean food. As a Korean, I sometimes watch them and think,

“Well… that’s not really how we eat at home.” 😊

So I wanted to create something a little different.

This isn’t about learning the “perfect” recipe or recreating restaurant dishes. It’s about experiencing the kind of meals many Koreans grow up eating—simple, comforting food shared around one table.

I can’t represent every Korean family, but I’d love to share the food and dining culture that I grew up with.

One thing that’s especially important to me is the ingredients. Because this is home cooking, I don’t want to choose the cheapest ingredients or cut corners. I’d rather cook the way I would for my own family or close friends, using fresh, good-quality ingredients that make the meal feel warm, cozy, and truly satisfying.

Every gathering will feature a different everyday menu—from kimchi stew and doenjang jjigae to homemade side dishes and other comforting meals that are common in Korean homes. Along the way, I’ll also share little stories about Korean food culture, family traditions, and the memories connected to each dish.

No cooking experience is needed. We’ll prepare the meal together, set the table together, enjoy dinner together, and spend the evening talking like friends.

I hope you’ll leave not only with a full stomach, but with the feeling that you’ve just had dinner at a Korean friend’s home.

대부분의 Drink & Draw는 음료와 간단한 스낵으로 끝납니다.

하지만 우리는 조금 다른 시간을 만들고 싶었습니다.

서울의 큰 매력 중 하나는 맛있는 한국 음식이며,
좋은 음식을 함께 나누는 것 또한 사람과 사람을 이어주는 하나의 예술이라고 믿습니다.

A Drink & Draw Experience You Can Only Find in Seoul

Most Drink & Draw events offer drinks and simple snacks.

We wanted something different.

Korean food is one of the best parts of Seoul, and we believe sharing a good meal is also a way of connecting.

During the session, we order carefully selected Korean dishes from local favorites, eat together, and continue drawing.

No artificial networking. No formal atmosphere.

Just art, delicious food, drinks, and good conversations.

The participation fee includes the shared food cost and ingredients for our special Mithril Studio finishing ramen — a signature late-night dish prepared by the hosts.

It’s a small tradition that makes every night at Mithril Studio memorable.

We usually order within the included budget, but if the group decides to add extra dishes, the additional cost will be shared equally among participants.

Located in the heart of Euljiro, our studio features windows with a beautiful view of N Seoul Tower. It’s a peaceful place to draw, relax, enjoy a cup of tea, and connect with fellow creatives.

There is no participation fee—just drop by whenever you’d like.

If you come around 7:00 PM, we’ll be ordering Korean food for dinner together. We’d love for you to join us, enjoy some delicious local food, and get to know everyone.

🍚 한국 집밥 | 함께 요리하고, 함께 먹고, 함께 이야기해요 🇰🇷

한국 집밥 최고!!! 요즘 한국 음식을 소개하는 영상이나 밀키트, 쿠킹 클래스가 정말 많습니다. 저도 한국인으로서 그런 콘텐츠를 볼 때마다 가끔 이런 생각을 합니다.

"음… 우리 집에서는 저렇게 먹지는 않았는데." 😊

그래서 조금 다른 시간을 만들어 보고 싶었습니다.

이 프로그램은 완벽한 레시피를 배우거나 식당 음식을 그대로 따라 만드는 쿠킹 클래스가 아닙니다.

많은 한국 사람들이 집에서 먹으며 자라온, 소박하지만 따뜻한 집밥을 국적에 상관 없이 함께 만들고 나누는 시간입니다.

물론 모든 한국 가정을 대표할 수는 없습니다. 하지만 제가 자라며 익숙하게 먹었던 음식과 식탁 문화만큼은 진솔하게 소개해 드리고 싶습니다.

제가 특히 중요하게 생각하는 것은 재료입니다.

집밥인 만큼 가장 저렴한 재료를 사용하거나 비용을 아끼기 위해 타협하고 싶지 않습니다(쉐프의 마음ㅋ). 가족이나 친한 친구에게 대접하듯 신선하고 좋은 재료를 사용해, 편안하고 따뜻한 한 끼를 함께 만들고 싶습니다.

모임마다 메뉴는 조금씩 달라집니다.

김치찌개, 된장찌개, 계란말이, 제철 나물, 다양한 밑반찬 등 한국 가정에서 흔히 먹는 집밥 메뉴를 함께 만들고, 식사를 하며 음식에 담긴 이야기와 가족 문화, 그리고 저의 추억도 함께 나누려고 합니다.

요리를 잘하지 못해도 전혀 괜찮습니다.

함께 요리하고, 함께 상을 차리고, 함께 식사하며 친구처럼 편안하게 이야기를 나누는 시간이 될 것입니다.

이 시간이 끝난 뒤에는 배뿐만 아니라 마음도 든든해지고,

마치 친구의 집에서 저녁을 먹고 돌아가는 기분을 느끼셨으면 좋겠어요.

🍚 Korean Home Dining | Cook, Eat & Connect 🇰🇷

Have you ever wondered what Korean people actually eat at home?

There are countless videos, meal kits, and cooking classes about Korean food. As a Korean, I sometimes watch them and think,

“Well… that’s not really how we eat at home.” 😊

So I wanted to create something a little different.

This isn’t about learning the “perfect” recipe or recreating restaurant dishes. It’s about experiencing the kind of meals many Koreans grow up eating—simple, comforting food shared around one table.

I can’t represent every Korean family, but I’d love to share the food and dining culture that I grew up with.

One thing that’s especially important to me is the ingredients. Because this is home cooking, I don’t want to choose the cheapest ingredients or cut corners. I’d rather cook the way I would for my own family or close friends, using fresh, good-quality ingredients that make the meal feel warm, cozy, and truly satisfying.

Every gathering will feature a different everyday menu—from kimchi stew and doenjang jjigae to homemade side dishes and other comforting meals that are common in Korean homes. Along the way, I’ll also share little stories about Korean food culture, family traditions, and the memories connected to each dish.

No cooking experience is needed. We’ll prepare the meal together, set the table together, enjoy dinner together, and spend the evening talking like friends.

I hope you’ll leave not only with a full stomach, but with the feeling that you’ve just had dinner at a Korean friend’s home.

A Drink & Draw Experience You Can Only Find in Seoul

Most Drink & Draw events offer drinks and simple snacks.

We wanted something different.

Korean food is one of the best parts of Seoul, and we believe sharing a good meal is also a way of connecting.

During the session, we order carefully selected Korean dishes from local favorites, eat together, and continue drawing.

No artificial networking. No formal atmosphere.

Just art, delicious food, drinks, and good conversations.

The participation fee includes the shared food cost and ingredients for our special Mithril Studio finishing ramen — a signature late-night dish prepared by the hosts.

It’s a small tradition that makes every night at Mithril Studio memorable.

We usually order within the included budget, but if the group decides to add extra dishes, the additional cost will be shared equally among participants.
