모든 것에는 정답이 있다 All has an Answer

사람들은 흔히들 예술에는 정답이 없다는 말들을 하고 더 확장하여 이를 세상만사에 적용하기도 한다.

그러나 실은, 모든 것에는 답(선善)이 있다.

범인들은 최종 목적지와 이를 향해 가는 길의 개념이 다르다는 것을 이해하지 못한다.

각자의 배경과 상황에 따라 어떤 이는 비탈길을, 어떤 이는 구불길을, 또 어떤 이는 평길을 걸을 수도 있고,

또 어떤 이는 암벽을 탈지도 모른다.

이는‘선’이라는 목적지를 향해 가는 각자의 방식 차이인 것이지

이 차이 때문에 끝내 다다러야 하는 본질이 변하는 것은 아니다.

다시 말해 우리는 모두 각자의 자리에서, 각자의 방식으로 선을 찾아가고 있으나

(무언가를 이해하고 표상하는 체계이자 수단으로서의) 언어적인 차이가 존재한다.

그리고 범인들은 이 언어 차이를 답의 차이라고 착각한다.

본질, 진리. 세상의 모든 근원은 역사 속 뛰어난 현인들조차 말로 구체화해 전달해내지 못한,

그러나 그토록 닿고 싶어했던 미지이다.

만류귀종(萬流歸宗). 예술이라고 해서 그리 특별할 것도 없다. 그저 본질을 탐구하는 약간 더 매력적인 방식일 뿐.

People often say that there is no right answer in art, and many extend this idea to life itself.

Yet in truth, everything has an answer—an ultimate Good.

What most people fail to understand is the distinction between the destination and the path that leads to it.

Depending on one's background and circumstances, some may walk steep slopes, others winding roads, others level ground, while some must scale sheer cliffs.

These are merely different ways of moving toward the same destination: the Good.

The diversity of our paths does not alter the nature of the destination itself.

In other words, each of us seeks the Good from where we stand, in our own way.

What differs is not the destination, but the language of our approach—the concepts, symbols, and forms through which we perceive and express it.

Most people mistake these differences in expression for differences in truth.

The essence of reality—the source from which all things arise—has remained beyond precise expression, even for the greatest sages throughout history, though it was precisely what they longed to reach.

All streams return to the sea.

Art is no exception.

There is nothing inherently extraordinary about it.

It is simply one of the more compelling ways to explore the essence of existence.
